What an EICR must contain

Client and installation address, and the purpose of the report
Details of the installation: occupier, estimated age, evidence of alterations, date of last inspection
Extent and limitations of the inspection, agreed with the client in writing
Summary of the condition of the installation, and the overall assessment: Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory
Observations, each given a classification code: C1, C2, C3 or FI
Recommended date for the next inspection
Schedule of inspections: the checklist of items inspected
Schedule of circuit details and test results: Zs, R1+R2, insulation resistance, RCD operating times and more
Declaration with the inspector's name, signature, qualifications and scheme membership
